Best of Luck to our remaining sides in this years Competition,Ash,Croydon,Guernsey,Hanworth,South Park all play this coming Saturday.

 

We are at least guaranteed 2 Clubs in the next round,as Colliers Wood received a bye.

 

Not forgetting Frimley Green on Sunday - daunting trip to Erith (especially if Guernsey upset the natives the day before ^_^ )

Agree with that Smudge. We got a walkover, not a bye btw.

Hope we avoid any CCL club that progresses in round 3.

Newport IOW or Cornwall would be nice! :ph34r:

Correct result, I had a shocker for the first though. Ball moved in the air and I did everything wrong. Best of luck in the next round

 

Everyone will be able to analyse it later Henry! Bit of a dull game overall, was hoping for better. Well done to South Park though who deserved the win.

when was Ryan=Zico Black due to go to Brazil for the invitation game?

 

 

"Guernsey's very own Ryan-Zico Black is to star in a documentary about his brazilian name-sake.

 

Globo TV, who broadcast to millions in Brazil, were over to meet Zico after learning about him on the internet and reading his autobiography.

 

And now, the two footballers are set to meet.

 

At the end of the shoot, they played Ryan a dvd from Zico.

 

In it he said he was very proud that Ryan had taken his name.

 

He also signed a limited edition shirt for him

 

But amazingly, Zico has invited the Guernseyman to play in a huge charity match in Brazil, infront of 40,000 people.

 

He could line up alongside Brazilian stars like Ronaldinho, Neymar and Ronaldo."
