I don't know how they have the nerve to charge an admission for the game.

Whilst recognising that Non-league can be the last bastion of many good things such as standing/terracing, non-segregation, beer on the terraces etc.. one hangover from the 1970's it could well do with getting rid of is the contempt with which it occasionally treats it's paying punters. Can't really blame struggling clubs, but with dwindling attendances you wonder how long it will be until those in control of the various competitions realise that relying on the dwindling hard-core that follow their clubs like a religion, and consequently will put up with being shafted from time to time, is not sustainable.

There is so much money sloshing about at the top levels of football it's incredible that the powers that be can't ensure some of that trickles down to improve the spectator experience at the lowest levels. Instead they sit around coming up with rules about unnecessary Stadium Capacitys and ensuring dug-outs are equidistant from the half-way line.

We're all doomed!
