Karen Browne
Could the famous 'Chairman's Vote of Confidence' strike again? http://www.whtimes.co.uk/sport/football/hatfield_town_chairman_gives_backing_to_boss_hollister_1_1686127
Jonno
In fairness, it doesn't matter if they only put 10 players out, or get spanked week in, week out. Im sure the good old SSMFL will see the benefit of keeping a team like that in the Prem and will offer the usual reprieve should the need arise. Chinola
Nice guy Mike and hope he gets chance to see the team through this bad patch...the quality of player he has signed on means when they are all fit/available etc they will ride up the league...a bad few weeks happens to most teams and commitment at this level especially when you dont have a budget makes it tough. Good luck to Mike.

Hatfield Town Fc
Dear All I don't normally get involved in all the 'Assumptions' or 'Rumours' or even tittle tattle that goes on within this forum!!! But on this occasion………I feel the need!!!! So let’s talk about the reprieve. We was given a reprieve last season.....I totally accept that……I have also stated before on this very same forum, that whilst I accepted the reprieve, it doesn’t mean I think it is the right thing to be done, But I did see the opportunity on a personal level as a turn of luck and/or change in our fortune if you like, seeing as we seemed to have had so much stacked against us when I took over 10 months ago, and in all truthfulness we probably should have gone out of existence! But only due to the dedication of numerous people, we are now stable financially, and I say again……..the reprieve as I am sure you are all aware, is well within 'ALL' the rules, that we all adhere to, and given the same opportunity each and every one of you would gladly accept. Now the Facts: We are rebuilding as a club, and things are (Apart from our results at the moment) moving forward behind the scenes. We DO have '100%' confidence in Mike Hollister and his team, in taking us forward, after all.......Rome was 'NOT' built in a day!!! I do find it very sad that people use this forum, to try and shoot people down, rather than using it as a tool to help us all within the football community……………and to the speculators………another tea time is now right upon us, and I don’t mean to give you inside information………but guess what? Mike Hollister IS still the Manager of Hatfield Town FC. For those of you that have made positive and encouraging remarks, we ‘ALL’ thank you for your support and encouragement! Kind Regards Chris Maloney Chairman Hatfield Town FC

Jonno
Here we go again hoddy moaning we should have gone up come in the top 2 and than your go up the money you lot are paying Here we go again?? When did Hoddy moan?? Certainly not last season as can be vouched for by certain members of this forum and the disciplinary measures that ended up being dished out by the SSMFL earlier on this year for untruths being banded about. My comments on the inefficiency of the SSMFL are my comments alone and have no baring on Hoddesdon Town FC, it's committee, management or players. As previously mentioned at the start of the season in the thread that discussed Hatfields reprieve, I wished them all the best for the season and pointed out that my frustration has nothing to do with Hatfield or any other club, but more at the administration of our league. Can't be arsed to dig it out and paste it here but it's there for all to see. If my club finished 18th in the league, I'd still bitch about the way the SSMFL handle promotion and relegation!!! It's got nothing to do with individual clubs!! It's about all of us, Hatfield included, not knowing what we are playing for until the AGM, some 7 weeks after the season is finished!!!
