Midweek Fixtures - 6th/7th November

Recommended Posts

Thanks mate , it's just frustrating that we are making the same mistakes that cost us games , we would of been out there all night and not scored . The best we could of git last night was a point , we did have p Lyon out and m Lyon , Garcia , Dave Murphy , and 2 others but the lads that come in should be good enough that's y I have a big squad , with 4 of them players back for sat it will give us a bigger squad to work with , roll on sat

No excuses tonight , 1 massive mistake 1 goal that's the difference in the prem . When will we learn ?

If we don't create a decent scoring chance in 90 mins, if players shoot when team mates are better positioned, if you can't swing in a decent cross, if every through ball ends up be claimed by their keeper, then one defensive error will cost us games.

One individual mistake proved costly, but a woeful effort in the final third was the seed sown.

I'm sure CB and staff will aim to put this right as they were massively let down by a majority last night.

Whilst the facts don't lie it's sometimes the truth that hurts.....time for some home truths maybe???

Apologies if the thread previous offended anyone at the club, and will apologise to anyone in particular if they took it personal, maybe I'm honest in victory as I am defeat, but some things are sometimes best left to those in the know.

Again my apologies

Berko 1-4 Bishops Stortford

The comparative class showed in this game, as hard as Berko worked stortfords passing and more-so their movement off the ball was pretty awesome. Early on it looked like it could be a mauling as Blair Sturrock opened the scoring then an excellent move down the right cut us open for their second. Credit to Berko though as heads could have dropped but they kept working hard and kept the score half reasonable.

No shame in that all. Decent attendance?

Scorers might not be 100% right. It wasn't until the second half I realised their players numbers didn't all match the team sheet!

Official crowd 143 but at least 200 when you include players, officials, sponsors etc.

Different class in terms of first touch, movement, options on / off the ball, strength, pace etc but guess it helps to train full time.

We got a bit more stuck in second half. A good experience for some of our young lads
