What a great game to be involved in.

guernsey started very bright as we expected, there link up play between midfield and the forward runs is superb.

but the 1st chance fell to me with a great cross from harris and my diving header beat the keeper but hit the post.

we had great shape and did what was asked from the manager.

guernsey no 7 (rihoy?) With a great strike from 20 yards hit the bottom corner and gave chatfield no chance.

shortly after we got the equaliser with a good finish from heardman. 1-1 half time.

2nd half guernsey had lots of possesion but we defended so well.

i thought we had a couple of great chances 2nd half to nick it.

overall very happy with a draw. both the home supporters and away supporters were brilliant.

I thought the club officials did a great job behind the scenes making sure all went well.

i hope guernsey supporters and players enjoyed the stay.

Congrats to HTFC for holding us to a point, from what I saw, they worked their balls off and created some good chances. Thought GFC might sneak it in the end though.

Well the New Defence certainly lived up to its name last night, with Horley defending superbly against GFC, whilst always looking dangerous on the break. It was a frustrating night for Guernsey who struggled to create any really clear cut chances despite probably having 75%+ of the possession. In fact it was Horley who probably should have got the winner on the break with 10mins to go but the shot rolled past the post with Guernsey's keeper well beaten. Good luck to Horley for the rest of the season, you look a well organised bunch so should do well (hopefully you can take some points off GFC's closest rivals ;) )

Thought the referee was poor last night, seemed to let the players bully him a bit and make the decisions for him!

Thought Horley were a good match of Guernsey last night. Organised, hard working, willing and tried to get the ball down and play when they could. Decent crowd in. Ref was ok, just looked a little indecisive on occasion. Missed a good opportunity to caution a Guernsey player for a poor challenge early in the second and set a standard and subsequently ended up with three or four cautions. By and large though all the players were interested in was playing which usually makes a ref's job fairly easy.

It was definitely a good point for Guernsey. Horley could have sneaked the win with a couple of close calls but credit must go to their defence and especially their goalkeeper. They were so solid and organised. Wasn't a bad attacking performance by Guernsey, just a great defensive one by Horley.

Note to their canteen how ever - if that was a jumbo sausage in a roll, i dread to see how small the regular sized ones are!

I love how you fail to spot the tongue in cheek chubby. Makes ME laugh!

Although however many point we had got, it would not have changed my opinion on the hot dogs!

HTFCSUPPORTER one of the best grounds i have been to, great facilities, friendly faces, very enjoyable trip and as i said, i'd consider it a goid point against a very well drilled side

Green lion, we enjoyed the evening very much.

like we have said before its great to have you in the league.

you are a very goid footballing team and im sure you will be there or there abouts come the end of the season.

all the supporters that come along were great towards not only guernsey but also to us.

i look very forward to the away trip at the back part of the season and i hope we can put a shift in again.

you are easily the best team in this league, but the problem is everyone wants to beat you.

once again all the best for the season and thanks for your lovely comments on our club.

Got to applaud good performances, well deserving of a clap off

Hopefully last year's booing of Eversley by some fans when they beat us fair and square was a one off
