Will it be played at Hornchurch?

Will the F.A Cup 1st round be played at Hornchurch or will we have to travel North to Darlington. We only hold 3000 max I think and Darlington hold much more than that. Also they will bring loads of supporters down, say 3000 min well that takes up our whole ground so its too small. Where will it be played? Will it have to be Re-located?

I don't personally know how big the Urchins' ground is but I hope they find any way possible to hold it there. To move to another ground in the county, like say Southend or Colchester, would take away all the shine and prestige about the tie. I'm hoping Hornchurch can cram in some temporary seating to try and raise the capacity as high as possible whilst it also being a safe venue.

I doubt they would bring 3000, I see that yesterday at home they only had 3500. There is no question of moving the game, if the police, FA, local council or whoever it takes, says our ground is capable of holding this match then it has to be played at our place. So what if it is too small, the smaller the crowd the better the atmosphere we'll be able to generate!

The cheer that went up when we heard number 77 called out as the home team was fantastic, there's no way we should surrender our home advantage. These league boys are going to get quite a game off of us!

Yes, I have heard from a very good source that it will be played at Bridge Avenue - and why not? I'm sure most Darlo fans won't have a problem with that.

We'll not be bringing thousands down either - there is a lot of disenchantment at the moment and Hornchurch have an excellent opportunity to pull off a bit of a shock.

The main thing to be decided is what day the match will take place - Fri night or Sun? It may not be Sat as the Hammers are at home.

I reckon Darlington will only bring about 300-500 supporters.

Play it at home and I'll reckon the Sky boys might consider it for one of their televised games. BBC have plucked for Accrington v Huddersfield, but I'd say your match is in with a shout. Rising non-league against struggling 3rd division side. Could be the upset the tv people want

Believe me we wont bring 1000 fans down with us, we only got 3500 at the last home game, and were simply [****!!****] at the moment! How much is it to get in at your place anyway?
