Rebels247
This cup run has been great for us because of the winning prize funds weve got for getting to the 1st round (for a club like us, that is great). My question (well, understanding) is that the prize money obviously goes up each round you 'win', but up til now, do I take it the 'winners' only got prize money. For example, we got £12.5 k for winning at Gosport, did they get anything even though they lost? I ask this, because I am sure, that from the first round onwards, the funds are split more evenly? Anyone shed some light on this?

Tom
Gate receipts are split between both clubs with the FA taking a percentage. Winners get to keep the prize money at every round.
Ian
Profits are split after all costs have been taken out and the FA has taken their share. I know that with the Trophy run and great FA Cup performances Kay has received a steady stream of cheques from the Football Association.....to go with the multiple letters we get about bookings!!
