Coffin Ender
Again. Well, tonight proved once again that possession is irrelevant at this level. To sum up the game - they took their chances, we didn't. First half was an even contest with both sides having a few chances but they took one. Sam Long's awful miss on the stroke of half-time ended up proving to be a key moment. Second half we started with purpose but not really threatening their goal. Then they scored a second on a counter attack to show how it should be done. They had a man red carded for a tackle on Alaile, but any hopes of a revival were dashed almost immediately when they scored a long distance goal. vic pain lives!
Very annoyed when i got home last night, but on reflexion they may have been the best team we've faced this season, very pacey off the ball with passes slid through for the runners not chipped or lumped. I am Spartacus
If you go on the Canvey Island website you will be able to see a video of the match. Mind you a word of warning you may want to turn the volume off as the language when there player gets a red card is VERY INDUSTRIAL. PS someone may be able to post a link as I cannot be bothered to,
