Travel to Mansfield

Edinburgh Rebel

Recommended Posts

I would think 200-300 would go. Just thinking back to the last few big cup games and Gravesend away 2004/05 came to mind. Our last few big FA Cup 'proper' round games have been at home but I would think the Mansfield game would encourage both regulars and non-regulars to travel (and make a weekend of it?)

Totally agree Warren, will need to ensure all the regulars get grouped together even if it means shifting about a bit in the away stand as we will want to get the atmosphere going for the boys.

249 ! because I won't be able to go! An engagement I can't get out of. Sod's bloody law!

Absolutely gutted but elated for the team, management and fans at the same time, for the stunning win last night.

I truly hope we win up there but from a selfish point of view wouldn't mind a draw on the 3rd with a replay on the Tuesday night at Holloways Park and of course,a win on home soil.

Can but dream.

i think replays would be 10 days after the original game

Was just looking at this: http://www.footballgroundguide.com/conference/mansfield_town.htm. It seems away fans are housed in the North Stand at one end, and yes, it looks like it's all seated.

Yep I agree, hopefully it won't be reserved seating so we can all group together to make as much noise as possible.

Looking forward to this, let's get loads of Rebels fans up there!

Completely understand Matt and cannot be easy to organise in such a short space of time

Im just excitedly anticipating, thats all :)

Think about the poor people who not only have to arrange that but also the logistics of a replay that might never happen. There's many unsung heroes behind the scenes working incredibly hard.

Would be good if at least one of the coaches could leave early for those sophisticated Rebels who like to sample the history and older establishments of the places we visit

.......like you're gonna get up in time to leave early!!!!!

Yes Warren try and stay in the night before and keep off the amber nectar !!

I believe Mansfield play in yellow and navy so we definately need more green shirts on show and yes Warren I will have loads of Navy and Amber bar scarves and navy beenies on sale Sat.

Agree. It would be good to take in a bit of local culture before kick off.

just seen this about entry price for the game http://www.mansfield...cup-444123.aspx

Don't forget, we'll get half!

Assume tickets available on the gate for those not going on official coaches.
