HorshamRebel
For all those who were asking me about my father last night, here is a quick update. He has now had his Brain Operation, and is currently in the Recovery Ward, so the first hurdle is over successfully. I'll find out more tomorrow morning on if the operation was a success in regards to his tumour.

HorshamRebel
Just rang the hospital and spoke to one of the night time nurses. He is now back on the ward and the only problem he currently seems to have is with his speech, which is slurred. That may be permanent or may be due to operation swell. Only time will tell

HorshamRebel
Just to give you another update. They got very worried about the swelling on his brain durng the week and moved him to intensive care. He is now back on the ward after the swelling has gone down. He is taking less oxygen and nearly self dependant. So after a few days of intense worrying he now seems to be on that road to recovery. Let's hope it's a straight road with no turnings

HorshamRebel
It seems miracles do happen. Having only given dad a 1% chance of surviving on Friday he has now nearly fought off pneumonia. He has had a massive stroke as well but is redponding to the physios. He is still a long way from being out of the woods but he has suprised all the doctors with his will to live. I'm currently sitting by his side watching him sleep after today's physio session
