Winslow Boy
I saw a tweet from Aylesbury Utd saying Ampthills Warren Garcia suffered a nasty head injury on Sat. Wish him a full and swift recovery from Winslow United.

smellynuts
Thanks mate , yes he did it looks like it could be a fractured skull we will no more when he sees a specialist this week . Craig, wish him all the best from us at AFC and keep us informed if you could. Didnt really see what lead to the incident but the most important thing is that he makes a speedy recovery. Ironic though that you and all your coaching staff are a bunch of head bangers so he will now be in good company tell him! PS: Soz about stealing the 3 points, but you did tempt fate and called it when you were 3 - 1 up to be fair...you have a good bunch of lads who can play there, you will again do well this season, so good luck, with the exception of our next game, pal. phoinex
Nobody at this level likes to see serious injuries,as players have to work for a living as well and the players insurance is not enough to live off. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

But yes it is awful to hear anyone at this level gettin bad injuries with work - i worked with a young guy on site who was playing in goal for hillingdon boro who broke hes ankle in a game at ampthill not so long back ... Out of work for 2/3 months no pay, hillingdon never offered to claim on there insurance and havent made contact since ! ... Pretty ruthless just fortunate hes still living with the parents and not got a morgage to pay i guess
