Hornchurch 0 Eastbourne 1

cup of tea

I don't think we deserved to win the game but I certainly believe that we didn't deserve to lose.

Got caught by a free kick the same as Dover.

Just couldn't get that equaliser despite lots of pressure at the end

Great to see Michael Spencer back after what must have been a very difficult time for him and his family.

Everybody capable of beating everybody on this division 3 great chances on another day would have gone in those are the fine margins at this level no need to hit the panic button but how we need a home win or the gates are going to tumble

we seemed a bit sluggish yesterday , and eastbourne deat with the long ball well , winning just about all the headers at least until leon came on and started to win a few, needed to keep the ball on the ground far more yesterday , but there was another good showing from alex bentley he looks like he could well go on to play at a higher level in the future , the next few matches could well start to shape the season away to bath and truro and some tough home matches against chelmsford ( without tam and alex ) and also eastliegh , will be intresting to see where will we be in the league after that spell of games

We must stop passing to people in Yellow.

Lewis is excemt as he doesn't seem to want to pass to anyone.

Goal keeper clears the ball and the striker crashes into him.

Not sure how they got their Free Kick?

The referee gort it wrong - Joe did not foul the player, the yellow card was wrong, and the free kick which led to the goal was wrong.

He also missed the hand ball when Lewis Smith took the free kick - which should have been a penalty. Instead, he gave a corner, and the almost mandatory booking of Lewis Smith for disputing the decision.

The referee's father was standing close to the East Side - and he was also a referee at this ground 25 years ago.

I thought Joe got the ball cleanly from where I was and didn't think it was a free kick, but I suppose you're always taking a chance if you tackle like that nowadays.

Looked like handball at the other end though.

Are there any video clips we can see of it at the clubhouse?
