Had a fun afternoon then Krooner?

Epsom 2 hanworth 1

Epsom much the better team first half deservedly ahead. More even second probably even shaded by Hanworth but Epsom deserving of the win.

As ever I did SF. Off the pitch was good chat and always good to see plenty of decent people down there. What happened on the pitch could have been better :)

South Park went out of the FA Cup to an efficient Met Police side who always seemed in control.Park nearly opened the scoring in the second minute but with the keeper well eaten the low shot rifled off the post and out for a goal kick. That rare attack was just about their only real threat on the police goal in the whole match let alone the first half.Wastell in the Park goal made two outstanding saves in the first half either side of the Met Police opening goal which came on17 mins.It was a scrambled effort that the Park defence failed to clear despite three attempts. Park tried very hard to get a foothold in the game but were shut down very quickly when they did manage to get the ball, and the first half ended 0-1. It was important that South Park started the second half with more urgency than they ended the first, but within 4 minutes of the restart they were two nil down.Cutting in from the right wing the Met Police player hit a low shot that appeared to beat the Park keeper for pace and squeezed under his body and into the net.In fairness to Wastell his performance had been faultless as another top class save came on the hour would give testament to. With time running out the police scored a third when a deflected effort wrong footed Wastell and ended up in the back of the net.All in all a good effort but just outplayed on the day, bring on the Vase.
