Keith B
Some contradictory information from the BBC and Ian's post. Perhaps this weekend's NLP will have a further slant on a sad situation. Whatever happens to Truro, a bad day for Non-League football in terms of clubs over-reaching their financial capacity, or relying on one benefactor with a bit of money behind them, and then having to move away. You just need to think of some (not all) teams who have got into difficulties when located in the extremities of the British Isles - Truro, Plymouth, Barrow, Maidstone, Halifax to name just five. Lessons need to be learned, as we are trying to do at Ashford Town (Mx) FC., ( I am a supporter, not a club official) thanks to the commitment of a handful of volunteers, and as George Osborne might say (with his fingers crossed behind his back) prudent financial management. Good luck to Truro.
