and signed three more experienced players this week-includung Ben smith who may be past his best-but i always thought a top rate midfield player.

Thurgood and smith in midfield will certainly test our midfield for 'control' of the game.

Frankly-i think we will have done brilliant if we can get a point tomorrow and not expecting much joy out of the next two games

Up the 'Gate

Personally i don't know Michael and im glad that i don't as he is the most pessimistic person I've ever come across.(just my opinion of course)

well i know michaels wife quite well -and she would probably agree with you vpl that he is a real pain in the butt, although she would add that he gets on her nerves by always wanting to do stuff, and gets things done- not merely stating a few cliched soundbites, and has little time for those who indulge in those fluffy meaningless words of try/hope/should/could/ thus talk the talk but don't actually do anything.

How many times do we hear crxp from managers-particularly in football-after losing a game that they will'take the positives'-but no-one actually challenges them a week later after they lose again-as to how specifically they have 'taken the positives'and what they have actually done.

Its action-not words that get results but-as you say vpl-just my opinion.

That apart-i do agree with michael-that MFC will have swum the ocean to get much out of the next two games-thats no disaster though as we'll contiue to win a few, lose a few and draw a few-all fine.

Personally- am seriously hacked off that we are out of three cup competitions-but as for the league-based on the team we have at the moment-we're not good enough to go up,and not bad enough to go down,so can just lie back and enjoy it for the next 6 months;and trust there is progress on the ground rebuild,so that the infrastructure is there to support a real championship winning campaign in 2013/2014.

HOPE we TRY and win today we SHOULD win comfortably, and COULD get a few goals, THUS thrusting us up the League
