HantsFootball
Gosport travel to Holloway Park as they face Slough Town knowing just 90 minutes stands between them and a place in the FA Cup 1st Round for the very first time in their 68-year history... http://hampshirefootball.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/gosport-mean-business-at-home-of-office.html Robert Butler www.hampshirefootball.blogspot.co.uk
brighton_rebel
Draw for first round is on Sunday 1.30pm on ITV - are people going to the clubhouse to watch the excitement unfold?

brighton_rebel
People seen this? Gosport manager reckons the game should have been switched to their ground cos Slough groundshare and have to play on a Sunday http://www.portsmout...witch-1-4387095 ‘What if we’re drawn with a Football League side – heaven forbid Portsmouth,’ he said. ‘That will add tremendous pressure. I think it is wrong that a league game takes precedence and that we have to play on the Sunday. ‘In this case, Slough should have been forced to play the game at Privett Park. ‘We have invested over £300,000 into our ground in recent years and are being penalised because another club is sharing a ground.’
GarySTFC
Good to see he's up with the rules about tie switching. If he was that concerned about it, KO at 10.30 am, oh but then his star striker wouldn't be available. Oh, what's that? Sunday at three is ok after all? Glad that's settled. RebelSaint
They're all the same down that way, first Pompey complaining that they're hard done by because they're not allowed to sign Premier league players despite owing £170mill now Gosport are hard done by because they have to play on a Sunday. It's just not fair........boo too
Matt
Just in case you all needed reminding of the last time we got to this stage (and that was on a Sunday too!): http://www.sloughtownfc.net/reports/4355/
GarySTFC
That game remains my favourite in my short time watching the Rebels. Here's hoping for a similar showing and result come 5pm Sunday.

GarySTFC
Will be a decent away following tomorrow as the supporters coach has now sold out. Even more reason that we need to get together and get behind the team right from the start.
Martin
Is their star striker a vicar than Gary? Looking forward to it tomorrow, should be a good game and if the draw throws up something interesting then could be very tasty. COYR.
HantsFootball
Morning all, Just about to board the train to Slough, then hop on a bus (74?) Slough to Beaconsfield. Is there any easier way of getting to the ground than this? Don't think i've been to many that seems as remote! Thanks Robert Butler www.hampshirefootball.blogspot.co.uk
A Rebel and a Saint
Hi, No that's about it, the 74 or the X74 will get you to the ground, getting off at the roundabout for the M40. Unfortunately the Sunday service is really not good! Good luck!
