Everyone said it wasnt a pen an it was handball for 3rd its hard enough as guernsey are a quality side an granted i lost my thought on words an i apologise for this but the referee was poor we were well in the game had a legitimate goal ruled out as tardif said no 1 touched him after he fumbled it in an we were on top second half for say first 20 alot of guernsey people were saying its tho best game all season just spoiled by poor refereeing !

Good to meet guernsey wag an had good comments from steve dewsnip who i speak to !!

Was a quality weekend. The football we played at times was great to see and the confidence and fearlessness of our younger players was good to see as well.

I do believe the game was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests IMO. All the best to Guernsey until march when we play you again.

Agree was a good game, Bedfont had their chances and may have been a bit unfortunate with some decisions.

 

Guernsey did find their way through the middle of the Bedfont defence easily a few times which the defenders really paid the price for when Ross Allen was able to stroll through a few of them and the keeper to put into an empty net while everyone was screaming for him to bloody shoot!

 

Just as last season though Bedfont produced a good match that never allowed GFC to feel like the game was over.

Probably the last game with the 300mm zoom now winter is here, can't afford a zoom lens fast enough for use under lights but I'll take the camera with 50mm f1.8 lens on anyway, will have to get more creative!!
