Guernsey v Bedfont sports

I know this had its own thread.. but the last team to visit where did they say? We know of the apparent problems when people have not stayed at the Ropcquettes...so a bit pointless going over old ground.

afaik there has been ONE complaint on accomodation.

Some teams have been at the Yacht which is very well situated for after match pub crawling and is a really nice Pub and Hotel

i couldnt care less where i stayed it aint a holiday an jade merely pointing out a fact we at bedfont were well looked after last year

Only been a little light rain today.

forecast seems clear of rain tomorrow, probbably grey and gloomy with the odd sprinkle of rain at the most.

A big bonus for all of the fans attending the Guernsey FC v Bedfont Sports FC tomorrow - Guernsey's golden girl - Heather Watson will be the special guest of honour.

 

Heather is currently Britain's No1 female tennis player and is No 50 in the world rankings having just won her first major tournament, the Japan Open - the first female British tennis player to win a major competition for 24 years.

 

I'm sure Heather will enjoy her afternoon at Footes Lane and that she will get a rousing reception from the fans attending tomorrow.

 

Roary has already been promised a big hug from Heather !

Great sense of humour from Sports, all arriving in shower caps, swim caps and goggles... but it was dry this eek :-)

My quick view of the match (for what its worth), it was never a penalty, GFC players never appealed for it and seemed as surprised as the Small Team from Feltham were. BSFC had a few chances and possibly could have scored another goal or two, but GFC looked like they never really got into 2nd gear.

 

Roary seemed to be on something!

Newby Marvel might not like this but at what point does calling the ref and lino cucking funts become foul and abusive language ? It took the ref over an hour before he got the card out for it. On the plus side Newby combined well for the equaliser and the keeper Buss looks good.

Shame about the fat bald loudmouth 'fan' of Bedfont who was spoiling for a scrap. Hope he got what he was looking for in town later.
