OldTowner
I see our old mate at Needham - Sam Newson - is stll hitting the net, with 12 in 12 games so far. Do I hear a 7 day-er ???????????????
The Mayor Of Simpleton
There's a player near you who could be a 25+ goals a season striker. Drop me a PM if interested (nope,i'm not his agent!)
Steve Newing
I am sure you will find that Sam Newson gets more money than any of our players and was on contract last season at Needham Mkt like most of their players. Plus the mileage , don't really see that one working do you ?
OldTowner
Er....No of course not - said with a degree of a joke just to raise some comment. Thought we tried that last season anyway ?? However, interesting to see just who has scored a few so far in the Ryman North - and those who "might" score in the Prem. Will we ever know ?? Let's be honest Town need a few - right down the middle. Stop goals, create in midfield and score up front. But don't most teams ??

Out_Of_Towner
This club needs serious revenue to be generated . Just a thought cant we ask saracens if they'd be interested in coming home ?
thecoldend
I hope that's a joke O.O.T! Saracens are re-developing Barnet Copthall Stadium...SSML DIV 1 side Kentish Town have had to move out.
andyetfc
Ask Barnet or Hendon to make use of our facilities! Barnet going west and Hendon going to Harrow Borough.
Enfield United
All in all it just goes to show that we are in a better place than a lot of other clubs. Whilst the Barnets, Hendons, Ketterings Truro's (and I could go on and on) are facing uncertain futures it is a matter of time before an enthusiastic money man will see a secure club such as ours, with plenty of willing workers to assist, its own ground with potential and say I want a piece of that too. We just need to steady the ship this Saturday after 3-4 loss's on the bounce and everything will seem ok to most people again.
Out_Of_Towner
Oh well thats another plan to make money done and dusted then. I though it worked well at Southbury road having saracens there . Just a certain person didnt manage it correctly

Arkwright
A local Ryman Div 1 team seems to have a striker who's scoring for fun whilst Aveley have a really good centre half who lives in ...........Enfield.

Enfield United
Ram old chap ..Thats never going to happen here mate 'NEVER' were'nt you always told NEVER say 'Never'??????? Let me put it to you that if someone with £,00000's wanted to join us and be the new owner of ETFC then it would be put to the members would it not?? the constitution can be changed on a vote. One thing a potential new owner wouldnt get though is the ownership of the site as that will always belong to our supporters trust. Anyway all this is hyperthetical and small talk, but referring to my original view , we are an attractive progressive club with huge potential. OldTowner
Could not make the game today, but the report on the Bognor Web site certainly gives Town a lot of credit ( which is great ) and it would appear that even Bognor feel Town should have won the game with many close efforts. ( again, great ) But,...... is that not where our problem is - we create loads, but are failing to hit the net,... time and time again. Need a goal-scorer up there with Liam. When will something happen in this direction ?
Enfield United
We could'nt have got any closer to scoring by hitting the woodwork twice and the ball on one occassion spinning on the goal line and not crossing it, it was bizarre. Disappointed with the point pleased with the effort (particularly the second half) and performance.
