Mr Rebel
underestimate us all you like we will probably prefer it. sure won't be as easy as the 4-0 the other week if we actually put in a half decent performance. we were dreadful in the trophy
Matt
I feel confident about it. Gosport played well in the 4-0 Trophy game but there's no way we'll play as badly a second time round. The Slough players really ought to be well up for revenge. I could well see us winning and claiming a place in the First Round.
Ian
If we lose having played as well as we can then fine. I've seen bad defeats to Gosport in the last couple of years however when we haven't even turned up. Time to right that wrong. The Gosport player who walked off at half-time recently at Holloways Park and said "I thought they'd be better than that" might live to regret those words. GarySTFC
I think we go into the game as underdogs being in the lower league and given our two recent results against them in the FA Trophy. However, I don't expect us to be as poor as we were in either of those games and I fully expect the players to give a good account of themselves regardless of the result. One thing is for sure, we'll be behind them from the off for the entire game and I do think that can and will make the difference on the day. Amber Army, Assemble! Edinburgh Rebel
At least it's a home tie and Gosport are only one division above (and not doing great in the league). Hopefully Slough will have learned from the previous match too. Hope Slough can win and then I'll be hoping for an away tie v Carlisle (or anywhere that I can go to and come back in a day) for my first ever Slough match.
