DEREK
Should be more determined than ever to put in a good performance, the team needs to produce the goods asap after Saturday.
Cookie
I understand the pitch was quite waterlogged early Saturday morning so the groundsman did a great job getting the game to go ahead. Am concerned that this further rain today (bucket loads of it) might put tomorrow nights game in doubt, especially if we get more rain tomorrow too. Shame if it is called off as we need to correct things and get this out of our system.. quickly. Also, I have the evening off work too
Coffin Ender
No rain forecast tomorrow. Concord manager was at Hartsdown on Saturday, not sure whether that's a good or bad thing given how the game went.
michael
after two bad cup defeats (and one good cup victory)the ship needs to be steadied-and i'd take a draw now against concord-can then build from that. a defeat will knock the stuffing out of everyone-players,directors and management. A draw will do as a new foundation block
Blue Knight
No rain forecast tomorrow. Concord manager was at Hartsdown on Saturday, not sure whether that's a good or bad thing given how the game went. Well he will know to play 5 across the back,4 in midfield and they will score on their only breakaway in the game.

marksandwell
For our next game may I suggest Goal BODKIN Defence Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Midfield Bodkin Bodkin Forwards Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Substitutes Bodkin
Gringo
That was dire!!! Thank god I'm working sat, may even work every weekend from now on. Why do I turn up when I know full well I'll be watching hit and hope football. Don't mind loseing if we play a bit of football for a least 30 mins of the game! dflman
the Bodkin line up of Marksandwell looks promising but what about the subs ? Would that be Bodkin, Bodkin,Bodkin,Bodkin and finally Bodkin ?
Cookie
For our next game may I suggest Goal BODKIN Defence Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Midfield Bodkin Bodkin Forwards Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Bodkin Substitutes Bodkin A bit over the top Mark . I wouldnt play him in goal . We already have the best goalkeeper in the entire Ryman league anyway. Lets be serious here.Bodkin is being shut out for a reason, thats obvious to everybody and for whatever reason that may be it should not be a reason to prevent us having a player who has undoubted ability, to enter the fray,if not starting,to give us some inspiration. We are seriously missing out on his talents. Not only that but Whitnell is being selected whilst not showing any form whatseover. CK picks the team, makes the stating line up selections and must be accountable for misusing players & having us start with 10 men each game (when Whitnell is included).(Sorry Tommy but when you put in a good shift I'll congratulate you for it but you know you arent up to scratch at the moment and therefore you dont warrant a place in the starting line up in your present form). His substitutrions tonight were bizzarre. Two gifted players on the bench. Two players that can turn a game yet neither were used. Absiolutely dumbfounded by those decisions. Someone said lets not have a go at the management but team selection & substitutions are made by the management and therefore I AM going to apportion blame on them. Stop this "I wont play you because you've upset me" or "my blue eyed boy is playing and thats that" Whatever CK has on Bodkin to freeze him out has to stop.It should be put to the side and not be allowed to interfere with the good of the team or the club.If he's been that naughty then dispense with his services but if its not that serious then use the player. Nothing is guaranteed obviously but Bodkin does possess enough ability to change a game more than others.Same applies to another player who I believe has shown ability and who can also put some flair into the game. Yes Dolby. He needs more match time. Not a game here and there. Given a longer run in the side he will be more consistent & be "magical" mark my words.Give him more match time. I hope Holloway isnt out for too long, not because the youngster did badly tonight,he did okay, but because he dosen't need protecting and the defence can concentrate on other things. michael
whilst i think bodkin is a better bet than a few-i do not see him as the panacea for all that may be going a bit off at the moment. I thimk CK is completely correct when he says that the passing game is difficult at this level-he is right-we are not-and never will be barcelonna. most people forget that there are 10 outfield oppostion players out there stopping you passing the ball-thats why players hit the ball long-its called the opposing team-there normally is one ! that given-what CK does need to do is play a much better and effective version of hoofball. Hoofball is great if you do it well and win games. Fact is-we are'nt good at hoofball either. I do not need tosee lots of lovely passing-just want effective winning football.that given-it would be handy to have a quality central midfield player so that we can put three consecutive paases together-as opposed to the current maximum of two.-that alone would give 30% more possession time
