The above is VERY AMBIGUOUS wording and it could be construed that there was a problem with Waltham Abbey. This IS NOT the case.

Apparently Basildon had not paid fine money to the Essex FA.

The fine was paid for the booking and a letter from the Essex Fa to Basildon states it was their error!

So will the Essex FA now be fined and suspended for a few matches, or will they merely recompense Basildon and Waltham Abbey?

The one single booking fine in question was from the beginning of the month!

 

Why did the Essex FA leave it till the morning of the match to say something.

 

The Basildon coach even offered to drive to Chelmsford to pay the fine but the jobsworth official said the office was closed!

They are such idiots, it will now mean problems for both teams. We will now either have to go to Basildon midweek instead of on a Saturday or re-arranging fixtures!
