cup of tea
I think we've done okay this season and I'm convinced that we're not in this league to be the whipping boys. We've had the disappointment of losing in the FA Cup to our local rivals which is a shame but other than that I think we've done okay. We're currently in 11th place and have already played 7 of the current top 10 in our 10 games so far. Best team I've seen so far is Salisbury (I know Bromley beat us 4-0 but we got caught defensively at the start after a quick re-shuffle and never recovered). shrimper
so far so good i think hornchurch have more than held there own in the league , no one can think were a easy 3pts when they play us , i think we will get stronger as the season goes on as long as we keep the players we have and have no injury problems etc , and the one or two new signings we have made should give us that bit more option on the bench if things need changing during a game .... on down side has been the crowds

Eastside Urchin
I think we can get near the play offs Fact is though, our team cannot be substained by p1ss poor crowds of around 250 When the club does have functions, like saturday week they could quite easily make nough money to more or less pay for a games wages,at the moment, hardly anyone has bought tickets,so another pathetic turnout means that we will probably make nothing out of the night. If we are not careful we will have to let players go,instead of keeping a squad that can push for he play offs.

Eastside Urchin
Nice one I am going to consider my future as chairman of the SA over the next few weeks As much as I love being the chairman I get so frustrated with the lack of interest in these events and with help in general, the club simply doesn't get the support it deserves, what do people want,go back to the old days???? Don't get me wrong, those who do turn up and help are great but it's the same old faces I could do with missing the quiz and the burns brothers to work but don't want to as I want to support the club and SA at such events

kimbles left foot
Have been really pleased overall with the standard of football on display, I knew we could hold our own and I believe a top 10 finish inst out the question.
