jl
BWood were too good for us tonight I'm afraid. I still felt we could have done better with a couple of their goals but it was pretty comfortable for them really. It just emphasises that we can't afford poor performances in our winnable home games. We have to park this one and move on to the next game, which will hopefully be against less strong opposition. Maybe we can try and improve the squad a bit in a couple of areas but not every game will be as tough as this one. See you Saturday. Come on you Blues!! Rich.m
Well thank god that miserable weekend is over, at this level you only get chances that you create yourself, unfortunately tonight the chances we had to be threatening we didn't use to well. Bwood were a good side played some nice football and if we want to get close to that standard we will need to have a bit of quality of the ball. We can do it we've shown it in games this year already but for some reason this week all the previous hard work has gone out the window. Next week we have the buzz of the cup, we could really do we a good result to get the players believing in themselves again. This season is going to be about character and it's time for all of us to stick together and get us going in the right direction!
Ryan.c
Saturday and last night were both disappointing performances. Boreham Wood won at a canter as we struggled to create any meaningful chances. It was also a poor turnout of Blues as I assume everyone stayed at home and watched the spanners? So far we've gone toe to toe with all the sides we've faced so far this season so let's hope (and I'm very sure they will) find that spirit once again. In Edwards we trust! Massive game on Saturday.
