Greatest Comebacks !

Haven't been involved with the first team for long but our home game against Banstead last season comes to mind.

2-0 down at half time and only one team in it. They must have had 80% of the possession and most of that was going through Terry Fennessy.

2nd half they decided to ignore him and go down the other flank. We pulled it back to 2-2 and they just stopped playing. Ended up winning 4-2.

Mine was 4, nil up at half time. Second half Craig Allen scored five goals and we lost, five goals to four. Players were warned he was bloody good but... And yes, hes Ross Allen's father.

Badshot Lea 4-1 down against Lingfield with 6 minutes to go in an FA Cup match, dead and buried. However 3 goals in 5 minutes secured a draw 4-4.They won the Replay.Mark Broad was like a doomed man, then strutted his stuff,up and down the line.

Its not CCL but still the OP was footie in general.

My Team Puttenham 2-0 down to Dorking Wanderers Reserves in the Surrey Cup with 10 mins to go. Brought it back to 2-1 with 2 mins left then with the last kick off the normal time our centre mid scores a 30 yard volley that must have dropped 20 feet from the air into the top bins 2-2. Extra time we went down 4-2 in the 1st half and bought it back to 4-4 in the 2nd half. Won 3-1 on penalites. Thought I was going to have a heart attack on the sidelines.

Mine was when the afformentioned Kendo and myself led Wars to the Div one title in 2005 - 2006

4-1 down to Lammas with 13 minutes to go, went 2-3-5 and won 5-4 Cue Newby comment !!

Also in that season in succesive weeks we were 3-2 down at Farleigh with 10 to go and won 4-3 with a Burts thunderbolt winner and the following week 3-2 down with 7 minutes left at Merrow and again won 4-3 and again with a Burts screamer !!

We also went a goal down at reigning champs Coney Hall with 6 mins left and won 2-1 Cue Tucks comment !!!

That side never new when they were beat !!!!

Playing for Mildenhall Town once, we were 3-0 down at half-time and down and out.

Our manager was a decent enough guy, but really soft on certain players who were his pals (he was the same age as them too which didn't help much).

Nobody said anything so I pipped up: 'That was a ****ing disgrace, we all pull our fingers out 2nd half and beat them or we've got no purpose being here!'

I don't think they were quite expecting that from a 19 year old and there were a few shocked faces in the dressing room, none more so than the manager, but yet I wasn't told off for what I said.

Second half we scored 5 goals and could have got a 6th had I not been flagged offside (shocking decision linesman!)

I remember at Lammas we were 4-0 up at half time in the Div 1 cup ( I think ) against WarlIngham only for them to come out after half time and beat us 8-4 after E/T!!!

Probably Merstham's FA Vase 5th Round game against Consett. Losing 2-4 in extra time only to go on and win 5-4.

Closest to that was the Ryman game away at Corinthian-Casuals. Losing 3-1 with five minutes to go, we won 3-4 which led to Ex El-Gaffer doing a Klingsmann dive half the length of the pitch. :D

That explains the large ruts in the pitch
