Another 3 points, with as Scouse said, 3 players rested, one serving his final game of a ban and keeper unavailable. Having said that, the first 11 tonight all did themselves justice for starting on Saturday in the FA Cup. Close first half, 2 great goals from Chris Smith and Jack Stafford but with a disappointing goal conceded too (he took it well though).

 

Came out second half and as in recent games, we started to work harder and got our just rewards, Steve Wilson with a back post header and Alec Brown a deflected shot. A fairly comfortable half I personally think and sets us up nicely for the big one.

 

Even first half though and could have been a different story if Farnham played that way in the second half but just seemed to lack a final ball. Good lads though, will certainly take plenty of points off teams this season.

Horley 1 epsom 1.

quite an even 1st half.

2nd half a well made goal and well taken from pullin.

then a horley mix up with goalie and centre back and epsom scored through jarmen.

i think horley had more chances and should of won.

but great to see kyle and good to see lindon.

Ash were absolutely shocking tonight, Sandhurst were always in control - well done Mark!! Looks like it could be a long hard season for Ash based on this performance.

 

You sniffing glue? How can you say Sandhurst were always in control? First half we dominated and missed numerous chances, the Sandhurst goal was completely against the run of play.

 

Second half we capitulated. Most embarrassed I've ever been on a football pitch

Banstead 3 v 1 CB Hounslow. Piss poor first half performance followed by much improved 2nd half from us. 0-0 at half time. We scored shortly after the break through Darren Titre-Wilson, a bizarre own goal for the second and a penalty for Jason Pinnock. CB scored shortly after our third. I thought Hounslow were much improved on their previous visit with.a number of new faces.

If that was Ash dominating then you are in serious trouble my friend - thought you were poor from the start.....agree that second half though you were even poorer!! Sandhurst could have scored double figures - relegation battle awaits I'm afraid.

Injured my ankle, would've strapped it up and played but we have a nice set of keepers which are all capable of doing a job at ccl level.

Knaphill 2-1 Westfield

 

Got what we deserved tonight ......... nothing.. Knaphill wanted it more and our players need to takle a hard look at themselves because whilst the effort was there the quality was absolutely appaling.

 

First half was prob the most drab first half ever witnessed. A referee who should have hung his whilstle up years ago ruined it for both sides by constantly blowing up. Knaphill player was booked for a very good tackle and he kept insisting the ball was moved back one or two yards,

Second half improved a bit and the home side took the lead before we hit back shortly before the end.

extra time knaphill were the better side and an own goal one it.. Summed up our night and now looking to see how the lads bounce back for Spelthorne on Saturday

Only playing mate, to be fair you did miss some good chances early in the first-half and maybe we rode our luck abit to come in 1-1 at halftime. But I'm not sure what happened to you boys in the second half, just didn't seem to come out at all?

I think this is a far more more accurate assessment than Chubby Brown's bizarre report.

Think u was the better side in the first 20mins brawler but didnt take your chances and from what I hear from Leo that's how your season is guna be!thats what we were like 4or 5weeks ago and bad defensively but we've turned a corner!good luck for season aswel mate
