Camberley Town - New Manager

Watched the game today and camberley looked good for 10 mins and went 1 v 0 up it was a OG.

But as soon as bedfont got 1 back there was no fight in the camberley players and it was 3 at h/t and game over

2nd half Liam stone made 3 or 4 top draw saves to keep them in it camberley got a 2nd but never looked like getting a draw

5 loan players on the pitch = no fight and not playing for the badge just playing for the fitness and money

Webby not playing today would of been a big loss for camberley as well but looks all down hill at the min

Better send them round to my place as well Smudge having watched every game at Krooner this season I'am afraid Div 1 is where we are heading unless the new regime can come up with a magical turn around. As Big Ant has pointed out loan players a good team do not make.

Thanks for the vote of confidence but think right story should be out there. I left of my accord, travelling from Ealing to Camberley was fine when I had no kids, I had a daughter towards end of my final season there and told Barny I would be calling it a day about a month from end of season. Enjoyed my time there some great people met and worked with there, and still look forward to the odd visit there.

I think you may be taking this the wrong way Kroons I don't want Camberley to end up in Div 1 as they are one of the clubs I hold dear but the truth of it is that if things don't improve then thats where they will go,you can't put the blame on the new manager either as its not his fault doubtless he jumped at the opportunity to take the job but come on Kroons where are the people who are running the club, reading the reports on yesterdays game is not good reading and why have they got all these loan players and where are they from Camberley should not be a stepping stone for anyone theres hundreds of local lads who would give their all to play for the club you just have to know them and treat them right.

Not taking it the wrong way Duncs. You are not our greatest fan though. Sometimes you have to take a step backwards to go forwards and perhaps a season of learning and rebuilding is required. I am not a manager at this level and never will be. I am confident we will stay up as I am sure Dan is. He only took over on thurs so I think writing the bloke off in his first two days may well be a little harsh.

As a neutral (i.e. an Ashford Town supporter living in Bedfont), I went to the game, fancying a game of football to watch.

I thought the game was ok, but can see why Camberley supporters on here have posted the messages they have. I think Bedfont deserved their win and Camberley did not really threaten the Bedfont goal. Nice to see four or so former Ashford players, but from a Camberley perspective, I have seen Brett Cooper play better. From a Bedfont perspective - too much chat with the match officials.

Good luck to both clubs for the season.

So where's Darren Barnard in all this ? Does he have any say in the matter ? Is he still with Camberley ? Last heard he moved upstairs ?

I'm sure there were some good candidates for the managers job, but why did the chairman want to do the job? Its clear that the money down there is not what is was or is it that players do not want to go there 'cos of the management ?

Not too sure what Camberleys priorities are and where they are aiming for. Always been prominant in the top 6 of CCL Prem so why this sudden change of thought ? It does baffle me somewhat, so again I ask the above question ? And why did Barnard stand down as manager ?

Mysterious !

To be honest Kroons I normally like what you post but this is a load of Bollix,to say I am not a Camberley fan is utter shite I played a lot of my days at Camberley in the youth team reserve team and first team I even represented the club in the F.A. County youth Cup Final at Anfield whilst playing for Surrey,as I said and you can't have read my last post properly you CANT blame the new lad as it is not his fault he got the job its the people who gave him the job who are at fault,it makes me wonder if you had something to do with the appointmenti
