Have heard that the league have given Truro till the 16th October to sort themselves out?

Anyone heard the same and surely with us going down there 2 weeks later,our club stand to lose money if hey have already paid a deposit for any hotel rooms for players and staff,if so,will the league be reimbursing us????

There was a post on NLM that they are down and out.

 

Their only hope seems to be if Steve Massey comes in to save them - if not they will have to quit the league.

 

Whether or not they would be allowed back in the SWP leagues next season, I am not too sure.

!6th October isn't long.

I think that Hornchurch dropped three divisions from Conference South to ESL when they went under - Hope something similar doesn't happen to Truro.

Shame for the fans.

I read it was the 11th not the 16th. Shame if they go, its always the fans that suffer.

Was looking forward to it, woulda been a trip to St Ives with my (non-AFCH) friend (he'd have gone to the game) staying at his sister's flat there

Bit of confusion on this

The league refused a rescue package but extended the deadline till 6pm

Apparantly they then refused another package and truro expect to be expelled from the league.

The football conference people are unavailable for comment as they have all gone home for the evening

Local paper down there says they are to be liquidated (thought that's what happens to Andy),

 

Seriously tho' they needed 50 grand so no trip to Truro for us it seems.

I make it that if Truro's record is expunged then Billericay are bottom with 8 points

There is a message on their web site which says there is to be a meeting of players and staff at 9 a.m. tomorrow - the message has no time or date on it, but I am assuming it was posted at some time this afternoon.
