Dulwich were told that the bar takings on match days would go to them and this would help pay the players wage bill but this has now been stopped by the stadium owners thus they now have a cash flow problem the owners want them gone but it is up in the air at the moment it is muted they are looking for a ground share in the dulwich area for next season as their contract for the ground runs out at the end of the season. Rio Ferdinand put in a 10 million bid for the ground but this was turned down by the owners. Also the club have been hit by a VAT bill it's all set out on their web site.

Billericay have announced after a 2 day board meeting they will not let Tamplin resign and he has now stated he will carry on as manager until the end of the season who would have thought that lol

Lowestoft have now announced they have financial problems Feb wage bill not paid board members have been putting own money to keep club solvent but this is now ending. Not my favourite club after the way we were treated in the play off final with them but do t like to see this happening to any club

Lowestoft Town FC Club Statement: Financial Difficulties As you all may be aware, Lowestoft Town FC has been experiencing financial difficulties all the way through the season.

It has now come to a point where we need to relay more information to our dedicated and loyal fans, sponsors and followers of Lowestoft Town Football Club.

At this moment in time the situation is now become near critical where we are quickly running out of money. This is down to a number of factors, including a big drop in our attendance figures meaning less match day revenue coming into the club, the club attempting to manage large outstanding supplier invoices and managing an extremely high wage structure which would no doubt be at the higher end of the Bostik Premier in regards to wage costs.

The club can confirm that the players and coaching staff have gone unpaid for the month of January which was due in February, because of the massive cash flow problems, with called off games not helping the situation. The club plan to meet players this week to discuss the plan going forward in regards to pay for the rest of the season, money owed for February and the futures of specific individuals.

Looking at the club’s projected income for the remaining nine weeks of the season, current supplier debts and our running costs (which we are constantly trying to decrease every day) for the remaining weeks of the season, our current deficit means the club is forecasting a significant shortfall for the rest of the season.

The club has had to utilise current Directors personal finances, and club overdraft to cover the shortfall up until this point, some Directors are still inputting cash when and where they can, however we are now near a position where we are unable to put further funds into the club.

We recognise and understand this will be a cause of great concern to supporters and there are questions that will need to be answered. In light of this the club will release details of a supporter meeting in due course to lay out fully what situation we find ourselves in.
The club will also send out further details online and via letters to supporters on the finances and what we are up against and what we plan for the remaining nine weeks of the season to ensure our great club is here in the 2018/19 season.

We would ask for a few days before our next statement in regards to a supporter meeting once we arrange a date and time. Details will be released in due course.

Think this is been coming with Lowestoft for some time - some clubs are living a lie in terms of finances but the situation does eventually catch up with you (unless you're Farnborough - yes I am still bitter)

With the re-structuring next season and assuming Lowestoft remain at the same level then their division will span the UK, running from the east coast of England to the Welsh border.  That's hardly going to help!

Lowestoft,s chairman has now stood down from the club.

 

More happy news ,not, Dulwich have now received notice to quit their ground immediately from company that own stadium. Local council now considering compulsory purchase of ground and shops to keep stadium and build houses. It's all go on non league

I see Aveley's ground is getting a bit of extra use .. Billericay played a league match vs Dorking there last week and tonight's North match, Brentwood vs Mildenhall, is also at Parkside.

Interesting - I wonder what the ROI is for a 3G/4G pitch as I've heard they do need replacing after a few years?

Must be positive though otherwise clubs wouldn't do it.
