See Wingate's match abandoned after 85 mins due to them having 5 players sent off.

Thought it should have been abandoned after 4 had gone.

And it was 5 seperate incidents.

What sort of punishment they likely to get?

How do you get 5 players sent off? - Were they playing Concord by any chance?

Ironically they had Ryman officials there as this was one of the Racism - Kick it Out designated matches ..

 

One sent off just after half time, a second which gave away a penalty from which Thurrock scored (Thurrock now led 1-0). A 3rd soon after, and apparently the 4th and 5th were deliberate to get the game abandoned.

Well, if it's deliberate then I hope they dock them more than 3 points as punishment.

Quite an embarrassment for wingate who are usually a well run club,would of thought the owners etc would not be too keen on the bad publicity,wouldn't be surprised if the management and players swing for this

When we played there a few seasons ago in the Trophy they were a very hospitable and friendly club. Damage now done.
