CCL punching above its weight

I think the CCL is one of the weakest of the step 5 leagues generally, perhaps because of the fact that there are few if any sides with a big budget, or a with large established fanbases and the CCL catchment area makes it tough to attract fans.

 

That said, it is a great achievement to have 2 sides in the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup.

 

Well done Badshot Lea and South Park - sure all CCL clubs and their fans are delighted for you.

maybe so, but the CCL hosts the best left back and right back in non league football, but bothare getting a fair bit of wedge from their respective clubs.

Would also like to congratulate South Park and Badshot Lea, although i havent seen South park play this year, i did watch Badshot beat Bedfont Sports on the opening game of the season, and was impressed with them, so hopefully one more round for both.

I think that's a bit harsh - CCL Is stronger than Sussex Kent and Hellenic. SSM isn't as good as they think themselves to be too.

I agree with Nigel's post about the Hellenic - not a strong league at all. Western, Midland Alliance, North East Counties and Northern are strong Step 5's.

 

Before anybody says otherwise, I WILL be taking in a few CCL games this season.
