Have Cockfosters signed a new player?? Have seen on mitoo that some guy called A.Ali has scored 7 goals in 3 games. Hat trick in the league followed by a goal in the FA Vase and then another hat trick yesterday. Judging by the rest of the goals this season he hasnt scored another. I wonder if they brought him in as the replacement for D Barker who left? Anyone know anything about him??

I like Cockfosters as a club. Run by good people and always been a stalwart of SSMFL. Have to say though I've been turned off a bit recently by some of the posts from their players and supporters. Its a long season folks and I've seen it too many times. I fancy them to be there or there abouts this season but its best to do your talking at the end of April, not 9 games in.

Adem was with the ressies last year, and looks like Roachey has given him a chance in the first team this year, and he's not let him down. If you ever see him in person, ask him about the Club's end of season party, for pure banter. He's a good sport put it that way. He scores when he wants

Thanks domcassels. Didn't know where he had come from. Fair play if he has made the step up to the first team and scoring. I guess it must have been a good end of season party last year!!

He played a few games towards the end of the season when Roachey took over, and i really liked his movement off the ball. If he's had a good pre-season and leaned up a bit, i can imagine he'll only keep doing well, with the rest of the talent he has around him.

Really? Surely if they keep squad together they will be top 2/3. What 5 teams do you think will finish above?. Obviously Lions, Hoddesdon, Southall all have real quality.

Either way I retract my statement and I do think they will come in the top 5. I was disappointed with their performance in the game I saw them in but they are a good side. I do get bored of all the Cockfosters love on here though it gets embarrassing... I put the comment more to get a bite and I wasn't dissappointed John Baller. Reel him in
