cup of tea
Disappointing. I think sometimes you just have to put your hands up and admit that you were beaten by the better team on the day. Lots of effort, the likes of Lewis Smith and Frankie Curley never stopped trying. On a more sour note, any lasting respect for Joe Anderson that I had went after the end of the game today. He acted like a petulant child. Hats off to Jimmy for being the better person.
blue pilgrim
Thanks Cup of Tea and to be honest the Urchins were lucky to get the one. I can't comment on Hornchurch internal politics, but there are always two sides to a story and the game probably came too soon for the relevant parties. Rich.m
Anderson walked up to mac after game and mac didn't shake his hand....sort your manager out! Anderson was man of the match today. Rich.m
To be fair he has come in for a Critisim on this board, which I believe he reads and I'm sure that you lot were giving him a ear bashing all day....that's if you was there. Whatever the weather we have gained from this at the mo and looks like your turning into Lewis smith FC
cup of tea
If he had handled the situation better then he would have got no abuse from us at all. People move on, that's life. I hope he goes on to be a good player for you and I have no problem with Billericay Football Club.

Eastside Urchin
Fckng sh1t,not acceptable and I doubt those in charge think so Considering the way we left new lodge last time,we fckng did not turn up. And if you want to know if joe reads the forums, yes he does and to be quite honest,I don't agree with what's happened but looking back on my posts I should grow some and let the footballers do the talking, sad because I always thought he was our best player, guess that's why its so fckng hard to take that he's playing down there

cup of tea
Joe was instrumental in getting us promoted last season - he was our best player and we owe him a debt of gratitude for that. I'm sure part of this is the fact that he has signed for a local rival and as someone put on here this game probably came too soon afterwards. I'm not suggesting that Joe was tapped up but his move to Billericay, if one were being cynical did seem to have worked out for him a bit too well - almost as if it was engineered. If Joe has genuinely been wronged then I owe him an apology.
