Redders you chat poop my friend. You'll never leave, you like being the big fish, you like coming on here and having people tell you you're a great right back.

Next year will just bring out another excuse about how much you love lammas, despite your fall out this year in which you said "i will never play for lammas again".

well pointed out hugger, we got to get these boring big head up there own arse players off this FANS forum,

South Park 0-0 Harefield United

To be honest thought it was a poor game, both teams understandably looked nervy and looked set out not to lose the game rather than winning it. No real chances first half as both team work hard to shut down the other. Second half Harefield tired but Park couldn't get the goal that would of won it, overplaying at times or poor final balls kept it goaless (Although JJ hit the bar with his swinger!). Feel disappointed but proud that we'll be in the hat tommorow with Badshot Lea (Well done chaps).

Tigger i like you. We seem to have a few opinions in common.

I think you should step up to another level of forum, i think youre good enough. Ive seen you write on numerous occasions and youve never put a word out of place. Go on test yourself, youre definitely good enough. Or do you just like posting with your friends hence you havent stepped up?

Banstead 1 v 2 Cobham. We started well and were domniating when we took the lead on 20 odd minutes, a well worked move sending Jermaine Addo-Yeboah free to slot home past the keeper. But then we seemed to decide the job was done and went to sleep for the rest of the match. Fair play to Cobham who came back into it well and deserved it by the end but this performance was nowhere near good enough!

Eversley & California 5 v 0 Sheerwater

Any prior thoughts of revenge from the Boars were tempered by a both managers having their hands full this week. Sheerwater had seen 7 players leave whilst Sav was dealing with five seven day approaches for our players from other clubs. Strangely two of these have come from Hartley Wintney after some interesting contact from a current CCL Premier player with a different club! With the goings on at Knaphill and Egham over the last week as well maybe a transfer deadline in the CCL is required to engender some stability but perhaps that’s a topic for another thread.

In truth this game was a non-event and with better finishing this could have been double figures. That takes nothing away from Sheerwater who competed with immense spirit and resolve for the full 90 minutes. Matt Baker scored twice in the first 20 minutes, both tap ins after excellent play from Ryan Stephens. Baker also missed a penalty, superbly saved by the Sheerwater keeper, and missed an open goal before half time. Sam Jeffrey also hit the bar before half time as the visitors tried to park the bus.

Second half goals from Baker, Bloxham and Marlon Day and some excellent processional play made it 5 wins on the trot and 23 goals for in the process. The team is flying at the moment ….let’s hope it stays together!

Worst performance of the season. South Kilburn excellent value for the win. Could have been 6 or 7

Totally agree henry, we looked half the side we are normally & south Kilburn took full advantage of it & good luck to them in the next round.

But got to say if the official had done the job properly in the opening minutes maybe a different story, but thats gone now, cant change it so no point going on about it, just hope the next time it happens we get the right decision

Thats why the 7 dayers are coming in,your Flying.People do notice these things.A transfer deadline would not get passed at this Level surely? What dates September to April?

Maybe your right. Can`t help thinking though that a deadline for transfer between CCL clubs of 1st September to 31st December would create an environment where clubs had to invest their efforts and resources into their youth set ups rather than raping other clubs. This would give younger players an opportunity at every club, give clubs some foundations, and most importantly stop the tail wagging the dog.

The only problem there though would be that A plays for you in September but is not getting games in October. What would he do for 3 months till January. Some Clubs do not have Youth set ups, from which to take Players,Eversley obviously do,which is the way forward,Knaphill would give their right arm to get Shelley,Hodgson,Baker, back I am sure.

All part and parcel NLN, We all have to deal with them....just that 5 in a week is quite a lot! Anyway they have all come in from struggling teams/clubs in transition so hopefully we will hang on to our players.

My point was a more general one about taking some of the power away from the players and giving it back to the clubs, and not bleating...well not too much! ;)

Knaphill 2 AFC Croydon 3

Cardona

Loyza

Jansen

Again, we weren't good but came away with 3 points. The first half an hour was our worst period of the game and Knaphill totally dominated and deservedly went 1-0 through a good strike in off the post. 10 mins before the break we started to come into the game a bit and i got the equaliser from Jansen pull back onto the edge of the box.

2nd half after another HT bollocking we came out stronger and started to control the game. Then Jansen put us 2-1 up with a good finish from 18 yards out and it wasn't long until Loyza scored a carbon copy of Jansen's to make it 3-1. Knaphill didn't give up though and deservedly got one back with 10mins to go. A nervous finale then proceeded but we held on for the points. A draw was a probably a fair result.

I went off on 55mins as my hamstring went so thats me out for a while :(

I thought a club could only put in one 7 dayer at a time and then there's a period of time that needs to elapse (28 days I think) before they can go back to the same club

That is right, 1 seven day approach from one club, the next time it can be done by that club is after 28days

Guernsey v Wood match report (very readable IMHO)

http://ormering.com/...s_Wood_Home.php

and...

"CWU were a credit to their club both on and off the field. Arrived at the Ground and looked very smart and this showed by the way they started the match. I am sure they will soon rise up the league, they are a hard team to beat as we found out in the Cup Final".

Fans loved the game Chris, we saw a real game and a battle, played at good pace. Contrary to what some might believe, if you'd won that game you'd have been clapped off the pitch as you were anyway. That's the type of football that will keep crowds of 1,000 going for their green fix week in week out. I thought the atmosphere this week was brilliant. Hope you improve your league position, you deserve it.
