Southport - TOWNER
what is the difference between a Member and a Supporter?
Out_Of_Towner
There is no point in becoming a member , I have been asked several times The answer is still no .
Steph
A member has a share in the club and is a part owner. A supporter stands on the touchline and cheers the team on. A member is always a supporter but a supporter need not necessarily be a member.
Out_Of_Towner
Yeah Yeah heard it all before , The only advantage a member has is to get snippets of info that the Inner circle want you to know .I pay my money on the gate , sometimes get mugged by the girls as I get in but thats enough ,
Enfield United
OOT-Disagree with your 'members criteria'. The Club is a supporters owned and run club. You need to be a member To make decisions on club matters, which we have done many times, as well as having the platform to formally put your views on what changes you'd like to see and stoke up fellow members to support you. To identify those who want to actively take part as well as fulfil constitutional requirements we charge a tenner, SIMPLES. Those not interested in the depths of club conversation and policies etc etc have the choice to say NO. I for one am proud to be a member (as are my 3 kids) and if I see any wrong doings I would'nt be shy in making my voice heard at a members meeting and put matters to a vote. But so far all is good. I'd say the majority of regular fans are positive on the membership scheme. With over 200 members so far this season when we get 350ish attendances proves a strong statistic. However, it does'nt mean the non member supporters are devalued as we all know its evreyones own decision to be a member or not. However their a few benefits to be had at local restaurants, car show rooms etc etc which if used would pay back your membership loads of times over. Enfield United
I didn't know about this - where can I find out more? You can ask a board member/commercial committee member. As far as I am aware we get 10% off at Toby's on the corner of Carterhatch Lane, The Indian Restaurant which attends our home games and The Toyota Jemca Showroom on all new purchases. That 3 I know of actually. All very positive.

That is fantastic, shame you have to be able to identify and find a bored member to find out their are tangible benefits of being a "member" Surely these benefits should be publicised to try and increase membership; if memberhsip is deemed aas being important? Enfield United
From a message I received as a memeber Jemca Enfield, the sponsors of the North Stand at the QE II Stadium, are offering Enfield Town Members a 10% discount on any new Toyota, approved used Toyota, parts and service. For further details contact Jemca Enfield on 0844 539 0042 or jemcaenfield.toyota.co.uk So if you have yet to renew your membership, and are planning on buying a car now could be a good time to do it. Mr Happy
Have just picked up my new Toyota IQ3 from Jemca. Great service, sales guy not too pushy and the new car is great. I would really recommend them.
