LANGFORD V KENTISH TOWN GOALS & HIGHLIGHTS

Recommended Posts

So it doesn't get buried under the midweek fixtures thread I thought the below may warrant it's own thread especially for Langford fans and people.

What I love about it though is the response of the Kentish lady fan when they score their goal when 5-0 down... check out the scream at around 6mins 10secs on the video. Fantastic and marvellous support!!

KTFC were missing eight first teamers and had a young squad out so no need to panic yet.

Langford have now won their last three league games 4-0, 5-0 and 8-1 so maybe another team pushing up towards the top of the table. I think Division One is going to be very exciting this season. Jack Gregson (number 8) in midfield really impressed me for Langford. Strong in the tackle, eye for goal and can pick a pass long or short. A really good player.

Highlights are below -

No shame for Kentish Town especially with 8 first team players unavailable.

In fairness tho and I know it's just highlights, but within that video I thought Langford as a team were superb and a lot of sides at full strength would have struggled against that display.

Good coverage again CE.......

Some really good teams in division 1 this year. Difficult to predict a top two?

Division One is always very competitive at the top, last season at Ampthill we played sides who were better than us on the day, but it's over 42 games and that's what counts.

This season will be no exception, think you're right that it's a tough one to call

We are a young side, but we can cause anyone problems... we drew with Wodson Park and Bedford and lost to Crawley Green though and (with no disrespect) I can't see any top teams dropping too many points against them

I agree no13. Langford looked very good going forward.... big question is how they will fair against the better sides in the division.

Cockfosters 0 Kentish Town 2 - Yes John Baller I can see how you struggled against teams you have no respect for

they only lost karen coz they had key players missing :197:

So what you are saying is that they are a very average side without one or two players (reckon the same argument can be said for most South Midlands sides)

No shame for Kentish Town

No13 - So you don't call an 8-1 defeat a shaming, what would you call it then out of interest

I wouldn't call it a shaming Rhodes. As stated KTFC were missing loads of first teamers and they held their own in first half.

Good experience for them and they kept playing and smiling which was refreshing to see even when 8-1 down.

Great to see KTFC get a win on Tuesday.

I'd call it inconsistency on your behalf Rhodes, in the SSML already this season there's been an 8-0 and a 9-0 but you failed to call them a shaming?
