Jab_n17
TONBRIDGE SEGREGATED Dover Athletic have been forced to segregate Saturday's FA Cup tie against Tonbridge, due to intelligence. Our game at Longmead later this year has been designated as 'category A' and will require a police presence. There will be no police presence on Saturday. (from the Dover web Site) did not know there was any intellgence at Crabble.....that's what happens when you get a couple of electronic score boards you go to the next level along with all the problems lol
SteveB
Talking of big clubs, a whopping great 108 people went to Southwood for a league game last night.

Yet they are being treated like the ICF, which just makes them feel more hard.

marksandwell
Talking of crowds I am hoping our game against Maidstone on 29th will smash through the 700 barrier! Just as a thought, would it be a reasonable suggestion to say that in some cup games/league where there might be either local derby interest, or larger gates like Crystal Place. That we should ask the opposing club to provide maybe two stewards who will know their fans better. I'm not suggesting our stewards cannot handle any situation, it's just this might enable a diffusion of any potential issues that might arise. Just a thought... BlueGate Alan
I remember this happening with Ramsgate once or twice Mark, seems a sensible idea to me.
Tesco Bazza
Good idea another way for admission dodgers like rams 60 to getinto a game for nothing. I believe most stewards at this level are admission dodgers as you don't see them at away games.
BlueGate Alan
Slightly unfair that statement TB, I know a few that go to the away games.

Tesco Bazza
Apologies to those stewards who travel away it was only something I had picked up on at non league level. But I suppose without these supporters helping clubs the cost of policing would be astronomical. Sorry colin I hadn't realised the name change, was the identity change due to your bar brawl lol!!
