Stand out Players so far?

we, as in england dont progress you donut. thats why the racism issues are still there. our system in this country is terrible. best players not getting picked. mate if i was his bro he wouldnt be playing at this level.

I know their goal was a "walk in" after a KL player giving the ball back to Ath keeper over hit it and lobbed the Paul Bowley in goal. KL allowed Cater to walk the ball in for Ath.

if you hear raving reviews you would know where he plays .hes a striker. kurt is a forward that likes to drop deep loves getting on the ball makes things happen,he is the link up man if you ask me,has an eye for goal and his final ball is very good he 100% stands out for us,ill be there watching them on weds.

Suprised at the lack of discussion surrounding London Lions' start to the season. 7/7 and only conceding 4 goals is a fantastic start. Surely a couple of their boys must be 'standing out' as this thread suggests players are doing?

 

ps. How can someone be a stand out player after this many games? Could all be flash in the pans. Lets talk after 20 league games...then we see who the stand out players/clubs are!

Guess there are no lions contributors. They must have some real quality but as you say it's early days

London lions are a good side strong in midfield work hard as a team beat southall with ease,they will be up there top 4

I wonder how long they can keep the 100% record up for? Does anyone know what the record for that is in the SSMFL?

 

To bring the post back to the thread topic...They were very organised defensively and there midfield was indeed hardworking (as you say baller.) They had a lad with fantastic pace on the right wing (don't know his name) and Sam Sloma seems to pop up with a goal on a regular basis.

 

They beat us well at their place (we were poor though)

I remember Sam Sloma playing for Aylesbury a long, long time ago...

 

No-one could quite believe he went on to be successful as a pro!

Agree JB, we found the Centre Back's buckled when pressed and got a couple of goals from it, but a very good side who should not be underestimated and stand a great chance of winning division one in my opinion. Nice bunch of guys though, both on and off the pitch.
