Our ex skipper Phil Martin banging them in left right and centre for Buckingham Athletic, a player who excelled for Ardley for many years chased every year by Witney, could do a great job in Prem for someone. Quality player, also terrific in midfield

Robbie Carroll at Hoddesdon has been phenomenal when I've seen him! He's by far the best CM in div 1, covers so much ground, plays a good pass, and scores good goals. Think his handstand celebration is poor tho.

Best cm in div1 behave mate and obviously all stand out players are at cockfosters no brainer really if you watched game last night about 5 6 players turnt it on and started showing off

having seen both teams this season, Robbie is Head and Shoulders above any midfielder at cockfosters. Sorry You may not like your mates not being singled out for praise but he's quality and should be playing Ryman Prem. If you know who the lad is then you would realise how good he is. Unfortunately he just wants to play with friends. So jog on oldie

Phil Martin is at Buckingham Ath in a side that would be bottom 3 without his goals. Have you ever seen him play you gorp? 11 goals in 6 games is good enough for me. Has turned down money and higher level football to play for us last few years and Buckingham Ath this year. Smashed them in in UCL prem for Bugbroke three seasons back I think it was and that is a tough div. if he could be bothered to get 100% fit he'd easily be equal of anything in this and div above. Of course you're clearly clairvoyant as well as a bit special do without seeing him play of course you can judge. See you down Hanwellfor Hillingdon game pal

There are some very special players around, but it seems people like to lick Cockfosters bum like they are the only team with good players. I agree Phil Martin is a special player. But is Lorenzo going to win Cockfosters the league? NO. Listen there are othe clubs within the SSMFL with some special players. This is becoming beyond a joke John Baller, and I know seem blinkered in the knowledge of the game. Maybe you have played at this level, but still have no right to comment on the talent of players in this league or any other as a matter of fact

Why should he when he can lace his own? Phil Martin has STOOD OUT as a cosistant performer so far this season, like it or not. We'll see what happens when Cockfosters play Hoddesdon this season, and also London Lions might have something to say about that. Anyway i will say this Cockfosters FC (in my opinion) will not be promoted this season. Hoddesdon found that out last year, and there squad last season was better than the current Cockfosters team.Hoddesdon will win the league, then its between Kings Langley Harpenden London Lions or Cranfield for the other promotion position.
