Hi All - Only posted once or twice before but am a keen reader and follower of CCL and Hellenic having played in both.

 

Injuryprone - good game sat week ago, thanks. I'm guessing you are the coach I spoke to (technical area!!) and not the linesman who thought the white line bent out by a metre... :D ? I thought your boys were very well drilled and ours were sloppy and off the game. Well done mate. Ive not managed or coached much before so cutting my teeth with these guys and there is a bit to do as you point out. Krooner etc - We have taken a groundshare with Chertsey to try and benefit both clubs with Alwyns Lane being empty when CTFC away we play there so locals still get a bit of a footie fix, also with one eye on the future for us obviously. It also helps to pull players in as well. Nothing more sinister than that!

 

Thats got to be the first time the forum has suffered an off topic take over from a league as low as us......!!!

GSD yes I was the one whos technical area spanned the whole lengh of the pitch haha... I was suprised you didn't play to be honest you were one of your better players last season. Will be better to judge you guys with a full squad as I know at least three of your better attackers from last season were not there.

 

Yes the guys will not be impressed with our park football chat....

I wasn't playing as I have concentrated on running the pre-season training and midweek sessions for them which I found hard to participate and keep an eye on what was happening at the same time. Rookie issue I suspect! Working on fitness to be playing in a few weeks......its getting harder each year though!!

 

We had 5 at a festival. I was only told on the thursday. And therein lies the difference between our league and this forums league!

 

We'll have a good chat at the return game.

 

Picking up from what you have previously said on the forum, are you looking to play in the CCL sometime this season then?
