Forget problems at the club, the f**king hospital has problems.

Ampthill player injured 8.15pm, ambulance arrives, 22.20.....over 2 hours.

Now 02.15, still hasn't been x-rayed let alone had a plaster put on the injury.....and whenever that happens still the drive home to MK.

NHS....must stand for No Hurry Sir.....FFS

Update.....in the end it was damaged ligaments and badly sprained for the lad.....6 hours after the injury to be told that, obviously it's a relief it's nothing more serious.

And arrived home at 04.35......to be told by the missus you're NHS????

Not Having Sex......argh LOL

This is what happens when our great government trys to kill off the NHS. They seem to have a theory that making loads of cut backs in every area of the NHS will improve it.

Hope the Ampthill player is ok and hope he gets back to playing footy soon.

Cheers SB, think probably relieved it's not as bad as first diagnosed.

Will add, the Harefield player who dislocated his shoulder and we bumped into at the hospital, hope he recovers fully soon too.

However, couldn't believe not one club member or team mate was there with him to see how he was doing!!!!

Hateley has suffered ligament and achilles damage, apparently it's very swollen and was lucky it wasn't a break.

However with injuries such as these the damage to the tissue can take a long time to repair and leave a prolonged weakness too.

It's a real shame as the lad had really started to establish himself in the team, how long he will be out for depends on how careful he is with his recovery process.

Has to be said there was no malice from the Harefield player involved, just an unfortunate accident as was the dislocated shoulder received by one of their players.

Obviously Ampthill FC hope both players recover well and in time return to what they enjoy doing

Rumour doing the circuits the manager has gone anybody heard anything?

It does look like Jess Smith has left the club.

Goodluck to him he is a nice guy and he has done the best he could with the players he had.

Hillingdon Borough FC were superb in the first half of last season under Jess Smith's leadership and they also got to the Challenge Trophy Final last season.

Got a lot of time for Hillingdon Borough FC nice ground and nice people i hope they can turn things around at the club.

Bit more information, he won the first series of Football Icon in 2005 to earn his youth deal at Chelsea.

"After two seasons in the youth team at Stamford Bridge, Hurrell was released in the close season of 2007. He has gone on to play for semi-professional teams St Albans City, Welling United, Worthing, Woking, Boreham Wood and is currently playing for New Orleans Jesters."

Will be interesting to see what players he brings to the club also he could well end up playing himself.
