Yosser is back !
Former Egham manager and club ledgend Jack Mckinally has been appointed as assistant manager.(top bloke)
Non League Nigel
As a neutral surprised your manager has left. To me Egham are a far bigger club than Chipstead with greater potential too. Surely getting Egham in the top 2 would look better on our cv than mid table safey in the Ryman

tempestward
He may of bottled it,realising that the CCL Premier title was not achievable. Says who? You lack the passion and commitment that being emotionally tied to a particular club give you and use that as a sad, sorry and pathetic excuse to pass comment on other clubs in your self-appointed role as some kind of all-seeing eye. NLN - decent comment; thanks. We have in charge now two men we can trust. Jack is a club legend (albeit of late not one who's been around much) but his performances on the pitch were always wholehearted and his short stint as manager was in the same vein. HIs honesty when he quit, after we lost 0-6 at Merstham, was highly commendable. He said to the few who had travelled from Runnymede to Moatside "I can't keep putting you through this". Compared to what has just happened it's the difference between night and day. I don't know Lee as well, but he is held in the highest regard here as another honest man on and off the pitch. As for who has left, I have a few names (no, won't say) but the litmus test is the team sheet at 19:00 on Tuesday 18 September 2012.

Surely getting Egham in the top 2 would look better on our cv than mid table safey in the Ryman I think its a tough one NLN. You will only get appproached by a club at a higher level if you are doing well were you are. If Egham were bottom would Chipstead have offered him the job. If your going to leave it will always be when your stock is high.On the other hand if you could get Egham promoted that would be a great achievement on your CV. The other thing to consider is a mangers job at Egham is not the most secure job in football (as i well know) even if you are doing well. They are top of the league but if that had changed how long would his job have been safe? Food for thought !

I'd be surprised if many go straight away as they can't sign for his new side without the required legal approaches. Whilst Egham hold their registrations they can stop them playing elsewhere. Of course the players concerned could be funny about it and just decide not to play for Egham but that would mean several weeks without getting paid and we all know how much players like picking up their money every week ! This is exactly the time when the club needs to make a stand and show managers/players that have been well rewarded and looked after that that you won't be treated like crap just because the sheep want to follow the shepherd !
