I think referring to it as mindless thuggery is way OTT to be honest. The ball ran away from Sean and in his haste to get it back he's gone in with studs up to win it back........and I might add, he DID play the ball. He also after being shown the red card took time to apologise to the player and check he was ok. That's not the actions of someone who deliberately sets out to hurt someone in my view.
