Sad to hear about Alan Pincham's mild heart attack, and if anyone who reads this sees him, please give him our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I look forward to seeing his cheery face around the place as soon as he feels able to get down to a game, but Alan - more importantly, take care of yourself.

I have spoken to Alan's wife Vicky this morning.

He is comfortable but will remain in hospital for the moment as recovery will take some time. He will be transferred to Ashford Hospital at some point for specialist treatment but at the moment he is in the Stroke Ward at St. Peters and can be visited between 2.30 - 4.00 and in the evening from 6.00 p.m.

Today is his 70th birthday.

So sad to hear about Alan. We wish him a full and speedy recovery. Can't wait to see his smiling face back at the club and telling those "ridiculously" funny jokes !!!

Alan / Pat W / Lazarus -

thanks for the update on Alan Pincham. Can't wait to see him again.

Let's hope we can get a result on Saturday that speeds his recovery. Good to hear he is recovering just down the road, rather than in Chertsey, and let's also hope he hears the cheers on Saturday afternoon from the RPS.

All the very best, Alan

All,

I visited Alan at Ashford Hospital last night and he was in very high spirits (mind you so would I be surrounded by Vicky (his wife), Tori and Bodge). He told me there was a possibility that he may be going home today and having home physio visits but you know Alan, I never know if he's winding me up !!! He looks well and is apparently mobile, it's mainly his left arm which is being slowest to recover. As usual he was very chatty and giving all his fellow ward patients plenty of grief.

As I left he said he'd see me at the game on Saturday. Hopefully he's over the worst, on the way to a full recovery and we will see him soon.

Could someone please email me or leave a message on here if Pinchy's let out today? I'd told 'er indoors to delay dinner tonight because I'd intended visiting Alan after work.

Great news that the old fella's recovering quickly enough to consider coming to the game tomorrow. If Alan does make it, can I request a 'welcome back' message over the tannoy before the game?

Was planning to visit today but phoned the hospital first. Apparently Alan is being discharged today and will be at home later.

I suspect that tomorrow's game will be too early to see him at the RPS, but I think that a suitable message over the Tannoy will be welcome.

Take care, Alan, and see you soon, our Friend - but only when you feel it the right time. Spend that time thinking of more rotten jokes!

Still worthy of a mention on the Tannoy on Saturday, along the lines of "Get well soon.............Alan........).

Let's deliver a result and performance to aid his recovery!
