AdamKing - That was the beauty of the Berlin Wall wasn't it as it kept them out of Western Europe, now, incredibly, Countries such as the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Poland are all in the EU.

 

The Berlin Wall (the clue is in the name) was built to stop primarily Germans getting into West Berlin. They had been cut off from their families by the advance of communism and the subsequent division of the city and the country and the Communist government of East germany were getting increasingly embarassed by the large numbers of people leaving the eastern sector thus the "anti fascist barrier" was created.

 

did you ever go to Berlin when it was divided rhodesy...indeed did you ever go into Eastern Europe at all? Why shouldn't the countries you list be part of the EU, they are in Europe after all.

But they're all former Eastern Bloc Countries aren't they, naturally the people from those Countries are all going to jump at the opportunity to come to England to start a new life for themselves and sponge on our welfare state, there should have been some sort of control put in place from day one as we're being over run!

Some of the Poles and Ukrainians here are a nuisance, but they are not even on the same scale of evil as Fred West.

 

Midland Road is currently being dug up, as there may be even more bodies of girls he killed underneath properties there. He could have killed 50 or more girls in his lifetime.

You do get ones who are genuinely hard-working and whom contribute tax to the UK, but Rhodes is right there are a lot of them who come over here to steal. I lived next door to a Polish family who came over, claimed benefits, did nothing and caused hassle. Of course, say anything and it's you that gets carted of by nick nick.

 

I'm glad that finally we are capping the numbers - I don't want people to stop coming in all together, but I don't want the country over-run by immigrants who take, take, take and never give back especially during the tough financial times at present. I have to budget what I spend, despite being a business owner, so I do not take kindly to those who don't work getting the life of Riley paid for by my tax and yours. Balls to them (and I don't mean Ed either...)

Capping the numbers Adam, lol! We can't, they have free movement. Cap it at zero for 20 years, i say. It will take us that long to deal with the ones that are here already. They are bleeding our NHS and schools dry. They live ten to a house and out price and under cut the British worker. Claiming every benefit possible. They can all leave and while they are at it take the bloody Royal family with them. Afterall they are as much British as i am a Muslim cleric on Acid.

If they all look like Kate and walk around topless it might not be such a bad thing, although as you support our royal family which is top heavy with German/Greek blood it seems a tad hypocritical to complain about a few million foreigners who want to be part of your "Broken Britain".

Personally I would be quite flattered, and even more so if they was going to pay me lots of money. Unfortunately its not likely to happen, although I still live in hope.
