Nightmare Scenario.

So if certain teams can't get promoted, why go all the hassle of winning the league when nothing can be achieved?

A very good point.

Maybe the hope is a successful side will attract sponsorship/investment, and therefore the club will be able to move forward in the future?

You said "follow the rules or face the consequences" that implies you were talking about GFC

By the way I'm done with the insults so call me what you like but I won't respond

Guernsey were never mentioned by me GD,you must stop jumping to conclusions.

I thought the assumption made in the Guernsey Press that clubs with "grandfather" rights were exempt had been showing to be untrue?

Some Clubs have continued to be allowed to participate in this League at Step 6 without the correct grading. However the League advised at the start of last season that those dispensations will cease at the end of this season, and that to participate next season you will need the correct grade. Remains to be seen whether this will be implemented, but Step 6 Clubs run a huge risk not complying. Step 5 Clubs all have the correct grading or better - except GFC who have until 31st March to comply.

I believe that there are five clubs at Division 1 level facing this problem:

Farleigh Rovers

Sheerwater

CB Hounslow United

Worcester Park

Spelthorne Sports

If I am mistaken, please feel free to correct.

Frimley Green also need work doing Adam

Also South Kilburn

and Eversley (lights should be going up soon though?)

Sheerwater / Woking Borough Council are going through the consultation stage for their upgrades.

Worcester Park are hoping to get things done. Their website says "I hope we can get our ground up to the leagues minimum standard within 1 year.We would love to have floodlights erected in this time but its up to our own clubs committee to decide this issue .The youth section at the club would also benefit from us having floodlights as we could then play in the youth floodlit league on wedneday nights ."

Are CB Hounslow hoping to be in their new ground for the start of next season?

VPCTFC, are CB Hounslow hoping to go into the disused ground at Osterley?

Erm, I don't think so.

In my book, once you get past the M25 you're in London and you come out of it when you cross the M25 at the other side. I haven't got a clue about what counts as Hounslow, Osterley, Norwood Green, Peckham, Dulwich etc. I think the locals just make it up as they go along. Is South Croydon really a different place to Croydon?

Anyway, CB Hounslow are moving into Green Lane which is about a mile east of the Bedfont clubs (or should that be Hatton?) and Heathrow.
