don't always agree with everything CK says - and not there to see it myself-but thought his post match interview summed it up perfectly.

Particularly his point that not just the fact that Faversham had 5starting-and i think 8 ex margate players in their squad-but most of them were not 'kids' but seasoned semi pro's who knew what this is all about-and only 6 months ago-many were playing at same level as ourselves-so creditable prformance today imo

Surprised to see Richard Carpenter in the Faversham line-up - it was his shot that took that wicked deflection off Bill Edwards to give Fulham the lead in the 1997 cup tie.

Also surprised to see Sam Long credited with the first goal - he did well in the build up but it was a cross that was obviously turned into the net by Faversham's number 5. Even the Kentish Football site has it down as an OG so it must have been pretty obvious !

One thing ck did get wrong in his interview (surprisingly to me as well )not sure how cray got on today, but them apart-and leatherhead and tooting who played each other, there were not any shocks/early exits foe ryman premier sides-indeed-Margate were i believe the only club to even draw against lower league opposition .

still think its a credible result though-but that view is only valid if converted to a win on tuesday-and that is far from a gimme.

Eh? Your postings get stranger and stranger. Tooting and Leatherhead are not in the Premier Division.

Other Premier Division teams who drew with lower status clubs on Saturday were Hendon, Wingate and Carshalton.
