Ampthill will feel like 2 points dropped again after missing do many second half chances again , ampthill went 2.0 up in 28 mins it stayed that way till 69 th min and Heath pulled 1 back . Then in the 84th min it looked like ampthill keeper had the ball

In both hands , a Heath player jumped with him and the keeper needed up in the back of the net with the ball 2.2 . Ampthi need to start taking there chances at this level if they want to win more games . Conley Heath ate a very strong side and in my opinion the best side they have played this season on last nIghts performance .

Haha.....2-0 up and hit the post too, second half in truth Ampthill should easily have been 6 or 7 to the good but again chances were scorned.

Then Heath pulled a goal back when the keeper with possession of the ball was clearly fouled, Heath then scored a deflected equaliser to share the spoils.

Ampthill did play very well though but guess as it's been said before at this level, if you don't take your chances you will end up being punished

Talking to a few people last night apparently Ampthill have already lost some good players to higher graded clubs so was told the squad at the moment is pretty much that from last season.

Staying free of injuries will be key but if they can add quality to what they already have then the basis is there for a very good team.

On what I saw one thing is for sure, the Premier League is not a short term adventure, they look more than comfortable at the level.

So Rhode's prediction of a Southall v Winslow or Wodson Park v S.L.E.B was wrong??

 

Lions are the best footballing side I have seen in the SSMFL this season so no surprises they won but it wasn't 0-36 like Rhodes was expecting!!

 

Good on KTFC for getting their goal.

 

I was over at Wodson Park v Codicote. Easy win for The Cod who even looked the better side when down to 10 men in the 2nd half.

 

I have seen Cod play twice now and they play some really decent football..
