Not being a Twitter user myself,it marvels me how people have so many followers.Take Croydon FC as an example 800 followers, but can you get an update on their games NO,so what is the point?Last year Bomaya added a link to WHO CITY,where several CCL sides, also added their updates,a useful addition to this site.Especially on Match Days, for people who cannot get to games.

Twitter is a massive involvement with football clubs now. The banter and social networking that can be passed around can have a huge effect on players and success of the club. I would actually say that twitter probably had a 20% involvement in my success last year.

I've just started getting to know 'Twitter'.

Probably be obsolete by the time I've mastered it !

Yeah of course Smudgeyboy. But what your referring to, I am not in any way part of the management structure down at Sandhurst. And I haven't been from the beginning. Salv brought his own guys in, and decided to go with them. Albeit. I haven't been at the club for nearly 2 weeks.

I used to have an account on there, but deleted it months back.

It's nothing more than a playground for keyboard warriors or attention whores IMHO.

To be fair, most football club accounts do give latest scores and updates, and have provided a very valuable addition for saturday afternoons. Croydon's is admittedly a bit hit and miss depending whether AdN is at the game or if someone's texting him / tweeting him, and if he's available to send tweets. As an alternative for Croydon, you can follow my twitter account @PurpleTram, although that is admittedly just as hit and miss for precisely the same reasons, plus the fact I still have a dumbphone as opposed to a smartphone, and tweeting on that isn't easy!

Twitters a great tool for scores. Saturday afternoons are like sky sports news at times

Some players talk themselves up far too much on twitter at times though

much better than sky sports news
