Camberley through but only after a scare. 3-1 up and had to rely on an injury time equaliser. Should really have had the game wrapped up at half time. Credit to Epsom though for the fightback and good luck to them for the rest of the season. Was looking forward to a local derby in the next round but Colliers Wood put paid to that !!

Not too bad Redders. If they play like that every week I would imagine they will trouble the better sides. Not the best pitch up at Chessington.

A quick report on the eversley game. We went 1 up in less than 20 second baker scoring before spelthorne score on 2 min. I thought we played well against a good spelthorne team and scored on 25 mins Hamilton. We could have then scored another 3 of 4 but some good saves kept us out and no one following up cost us as spelthorne had a shot saved which was followed up for 2 2.

Second half spelthorne came out on fire and scored a long ranger.( maybe a cross) willow then scored 5 mins later to level it up. We went down to ten when milly talked himself into a red card from ref mr fish on 65 mins. We rode our luck as spelthorne pushed forward and we looked to hit them on the break. The last min baker got the ball on the halfway line and took the ball into the corner. A great cross fell to Hamilton who kept his cool and slotted past the keeper for a 91 min winner. Highs and lows of football with Monday and then today.

I thought apart from the first 20mins when you was all over the show, Knaphill showed great spirit & determination & at least deserved another chance. We could have wrapped the game up so early & think we thought we had. Knaphill slowly but surely got into the game, your goal was abit lucky but then again how many times did we ride our luck in the 2nd half. If you play like that throughout the rest of the season you will certain be there or there about at the end off the season.

 

In ourselves we did show some fighting spirit knowing we wasnt playing well but carried on battling on & i know myself we would have caved in in other seasons

Apart from Frimley last week that's how we've been playing but haven't been taking out chances as you saw. Thought Jimmy Norman was decent for you and his 2 goals in 15 mins killed us. 3 new players brought in today which have bolstered us up abit. Great Attacking game today. Like you said if we can start taking our chances and play like weve been playing I'd be surprised if we weren't up there but anything can happen in CCL div 1!!!

Sadly never know whether to trust them!

more like 2 goals in the first 5 mins & have to say at that point thought you did look like a sunday side as you have no shape or diiscipline as there was several poor tackles. However did think we was lucky towards the end but fair play to the ref he took no shite & did his best to keep the game flowing.

 

On a home view I know we had at least seven regulars out through away, injuries & other absentz, but that why we have a reserve team to back up the first team & the players who played today are good enough to be there, but i know if half of them was here today don't think you would have had the luxury you got in the second half.

 

Hopefully they will be back next week
